It is no secret that the Borghese Gallery is one of the most popular art galleries and museums in Rome, so it is highly recommended that you
plan your visit as early as possible. Due to its size, only a small number of visitors are allowed entrance at specific time slots. By booking your
Borghese Gallery tickets in advance, you will secure your spot in the time slot of your preference.
Depending on when you plan on visiting, you may find that there are no tickets available – not third-even through party ticket resellers and tour providers. Although this means that the Borghese Gallery is indeed sold out, you may still get to visit, since the Borghese Gallery sells a limited number of last-minute tickets.
These last minute tickets are made available 20 minutes after the start of every time-slot and allow you to explore the museum for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Only 13 last-minute tickets are available for each time slot, and you can only buy them in person at the Borghese Gallery ticket office.
Keep in mind that if you show up without a ticket, the chances of gaining access are slim, so the best way to avoid disappointment is to book your tickets or tour in advance. If you are unsuccessful in securing last-minute tickets, you can always explore the
Villa Borghese Gardens.
